Faranak is a Research Analyst with the Engineering Health team at the KITE Research Institute. She completed her Masters of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto in September 2024. Her graduate research focused on evaluating social isolation and functional recovery in older adults recovering from lower limb fractures, using multimodal sensor platforms and advanced statistical and qualitative analyses. Faranak is passionate about leveraging machine learning and deep learning techniques in her research, as well as conducting data collection and diverse analyses across projects in the Engineering Health lab.
